Statement of Amanda Rae COUSINS, 73.09.04  Taken by Det. Jackson and Stg. Tragear Nov. 16/90 at 6:30 p.m. in presence of mother, Sara Cousins

When I spoke to you last time I told you that I followed Darren HUENEMANN from school on October 5, 1990 and watched him drop Derik Lord and Dave Muir at Chinatown.  I said that because the day before when I was talking to Darren, he asked me to say that if anyone asked.  So I said that to Sgt. Tragear when he came to see me on October 6th, 1990, a Saturday.  At about 11 a.m.. October 6th, 1990, Darren phoned me at home and told me his mother and grandmother were dead. He phoned back an hour or two later and he said that the police suspected foul play and he reminded me to tell the police when they talked to me that I had followed Darren downtown and watched him drop off David Muir and Derik lord at Chinatown, when I really hadn't.  I went to school on October 5th, 1990 but I didn't talk to Darren.  I saw him at 2 p.m. when school got out in the school parking lot with Dave Muir and Derik lord in his car, but I really don't know where they went.  When Darren and I picked up Dave Muir and Derik lord downtown we dropped Dave Muir off near his house or at lord's house about fifteen minutes after we picked them up.  We went to cattle point for a minute or two and then straight to drop off Dave Muir.  I think it was about 9:15 p.m. or 9:30p.m. when we dropped off Dave Muir, but I'm not sure.
